Warm rusty browns, coppers and bronzes made the beauty looks for many designers this season. There were soft muted tones on eyes at Balmain and Burberry Prorsum, Chloe teamed them with lots of dark lashes, while Rodarte and Donna Karan went for a bolder orange. We love this look as the colours are really wearable and will work with most skintones (ok, orange may be harder to pull off but it looks amazing on blue eyes!)
Lou created this gorgeous copper eye by first applying a fine layer of rms cream eyeshadow in Spark all over the lid and into the socket line. Next she set the cream shadow by gently ‘pressing’ a powder shadow over the top, Lou used W3LL PEOPLE luminous copper Shimmer Mineral Shadow (not yet available in the UK unfortunately). The Organic Pharmacy has some lovely mineral eye colours perfect for this look though, try the bronze or copper. Lou then used Burnt Sienna from Inika along the bottom lashes and the outer corners of the eyes to add depth. Next she curled lashes and applied mascara, combing through between each coat. We’re road testing terre d’Oc’s mascara at the moment and it is doing very well. If you want a stronger look, try smudging some black liner really close to the top and bottom lash line. Lou kept the skin nice and natural and used Ilia’s Blossom Lady for a soft lip.
