THE LOOK: Spring Blush

One make-up product that I am always telling people to use is blusher.  If you’re short of time in the morning, this is one thing that should not be skipped.  It can brighten any complexion in a matter of seconds, even cheat a few hours sleep.  Cream blushers are perfect for a quick fix, just apply with your fingers to a moisturised skin up along your cheek bones and you’re ready to go!  I have always had a bit of a rosy complexion so have skipped the blusher in my routine; however this wintery weather (and perhaps a few more years on me) have caused me to take my own advice and embrace the rouge.  It certainly does make a difference, giving an instant healthy glow.  It is nice to be told that you look well!

My favourites at the moment are W3LL People’s Universalist Luminous Stick in shade 1 and rms beauty’s Lip2cheek in Smile.  UNE have some fabulous ones as well.  If you’re more a powder girl then Nvey Eco’s Warm Pink is my latest discovery – it looks gorgeous on most skintones.

Thanks @loudartford. We couldn’t agree more, don’t leave home without a blushed cheek! And may we recommend another “eye” opening look. Check out our tip for waking up tired eyes with the Universalist #2. Put these two colors together and no one will ever know you didn’t get eight hours of uninterrupted, blissful, beauty rest.
