Review: Bite Beauty

I was really pleased to stumble across this lip range from Bite Beauty.  The Canadian range boasts a strong collection of products that seem to cover all of your lip needs!

No petrochemicals are used in any of the line, it is also free from parabens, phthalates, and other nasties.  Instead the products are made from organic shea and fruit butters, along with things like acai, blueberry and pomegranate to protect, nourish and condition.  Each lipstick also contains Red Wine Resveratrol for its powerful antioxidant properties to help keep lips youthful.  Food grade colourants give the products their rich pigments.  So the credentials are pretty good.

But do they perform their proposed duties well?  I have given a few of them a try and have really liked what I have seen. My current favourites are the High Pigment Pencils along with the Whipped Cherry Lip Scrub.  The pencils are really easy to use and the the scrub smells amazing – as well as smoothing the lips!  If you want to learn a bit more about the products click here to read a review I wrote for SIX Magazine.

I have been wanting to try BITE products for a while now but I just can’t seem to find them in Australia and no one ships them here. I’m very keen to try the lip liner pencil and the high pigment pencils.

They are not so available in the UK either – has them here – hopefully they will grow and become an international brand as they really are great products, the kind that we all need to be using!
