Off on holidays soon? For a recent beauty story in Health & Fitness magazine, I asked one of my make-up artist friends Louise Dartford for her tips on keeping make-up looking fresh in the heat. I also featured some of my favourite natural / organic make-up: Ilia, Balance Me, BareMinerals, and RMS beauty. Check out the page and her great tips. Thanks Lou!

Here in southern Spain temperatures can reach 40º with high humidity too so summer make-up is minimal. I like Vapour Solar Translucent bronzer stick in Simmer & also their Multi Use Blush stick in Aura – both are multi-taskers for eyes & lips too. I add Lanolips in pale pink for a bit of gloss & a bronze eye pencil for eye definition at night. I get my lashes dyed so avoid mascara.

Thanks for your comment Kim – I don’t think I could cope in that heat!! That is great that the Vapour products are working for you – I love the bronzing sticks!

Thanks for sharing those makeup tips. Finding the right makeup that complements your features is the first step to beauty, but of course you also have to know the right techniques to apply it and enhance your features.

You’re very welcome, glad you enjoyed them. Very true, you need both the right product and the right technique! It doesn’t have to be hard though, practise, experimenting and fun!
