Three of my favourite spring/summer trends for 2016….

It’s here! The birds are singing as I write, spring is in the air. Therefore it is time for a new wardrobe and some new make-up! Here are three of my favourite make-up trends for the new season and all are so easy to wear..

Blue Eyes

There is no doubt that blue was a hit on the runways this season. Pastel, aqua, or royal, grungy, full on or subtle, there is a version out there for everyone this spring. Swap your black flick for a blue one for an instant easy season update. Benecos Bright Blue Kajal Eyeliner is an essential for your spring/summer make-up bag.

Red Lips

Where would we be without a red lip, a look that is never out of fashion and never dated. Red lips look great in the winter to brighten a tired complexion and look equally great in the summer on sun kissed skin; so it’s no surprise that there were loads on the runway this spring/summer. Matt colour seemed to rule over gloss making Absolution’s lipstick in #8 the perfect tool for this look. I’m vowing to embrace it this summer..

Bronzed Beauties

I’m not one for sitting in the sun and to date, I’m not sure I’ve ever had a tan, but the sun kissed girls walking down many of the runways made me want one!! We all know that tans aren’t so good for our skin so the best way is to cheat it with a good bronzer. Try dusting Studio 78’s Bronzing Powder over areas that would catch the sun with a big brush. Remember we want sunkissed not sunbaked..
