Product Of The Month – W3LL PEOPLE Bio Correct Multi-Action Concealer

I’ve long been a fan of W3LL PEOPLE, in fact they were the brand that made me look at mineral foundations in a different light. I had always found most powders just sat in lines and suchlike, making skin look worse, unless of course you were 12.. However their Altruist Foundation Powder completely changed my opinion thanks to their super smooth minerals and additions like aloe, chamomile and green tea. It sits on skin really well, with buildable coverage that protects and heals too.

I was so excited to learn about the launch of their new Bio Correct Multi-Action Concealer earlier this year and once I started reading reviews, I really couldn’t wait to try them.

Personally I suffer from dark circles, I always have and I’m sure I always will, so I need a good under eye concealer. After stepping away from ‘conventional’ brands many years ago, this was definitely something my personal make-up bag had been lacking. My professional kit too, as I’ve said before it does still contain non-green items, and the concealer department has been needing some help for a while. There are many organic and natural concealers on the market, but not that many of them really cut the mustard. They are either too greasy, too chalky or just not enough coverage. Of course there are some good ones but my make-up bag and my professional kit have been screaming out for some new additions that tick the green and ethical boxes as well as the performance one.

So you can imagine, I had pinned a lot of hope on these new concealers. I’m very pleased to report back they are GREAT!!

They’ve been getting to work on my under eye baggage, and they’re the best I’ve used so far. With a mousse like consistency, they are creamy enough to go under the eyes but dry enough to stay there without creasing. They are not shiny or greasy, the texture is quite silky on the skin and effortlessly blends in. They have great coverage which you can layer to get more, but lightweight so don’t feel heavy around the eyes. I’ve been trying them out at work too. They’re also great on blemishes and redness. On me I’ve been using my fingers to apply but on other people a brush, both work well. They stay put too.

As well as concealing, the concealers also contain ingredients to help tackle any skin concerns. Organic algae, coffee, pomegranate and anti-aging peptides will help to de-puff and brighten under eyes as well as smoothing skin.

There are four colours – from the top – fair, light, medium and medium dark.

Fair is the lightest and quite pink, this is great for brightening under the eyes. Light is more yellow toned – I’ve been mixing fair and light together quite a lot. Medium has more of a pink undertone and medium dark is more olive. Hopefully more colours will follow!

If you’re not familiar with W3LL PEOPLE they are CLEAN beauty!! NO parabens, chemical dyes, fragrance, dimethicone, silicone, pthalates, sulphates, petroleum, talc, bismuth oxychloride, artificial preservatives, nano particles and NO animal testing 🙂

Have you tried them yet? What are your thoughts?

Thanks Laura! Ah yes HD, a lot of your work is in HD isn’t it – how do you think it could affect the concealers if it did? xx
