My hands have turned into their usual winter selves – like those of an 80 year olds. So when I tried Nourish’s Radiance Rejuvenating Peptide Serum on the back of one of them and it suddenly became soft and smooth, I had to take note and get it on my face pronto!!
This serum is designed to hydrate and add luminosity to a normal skin. Perhaps if you have been burning the candle at both ends and your skin is lacking oomph, or even just the colder weather is taking its toll. My skin is generally tired; sleep is a luxury in our household, it is massively unpredictable whether we’re going to get it or not and this does show on my skin. Therefore any serum that is going give radiance is worth a shot. I’ve been using this one for about a month I would say and I really like it.
The texture is very lightweight, almost a watery gel but very silky. It just glides onto skin and and sinks in straight away, one pump does your whole face easily – I often do more taking it down onto my neck as well. There is no residue left, skin just feels smooth and hydrated. My skin definitely looks brighter and more radiant – not in the way an oil would make it shiny – it just looks softer and more rested.
Alpine Foxberry is hailed as the hero of this serum due its skin brightening properties. Tonka Bean bio-extract also enhances natural radiance by acting as an optical brightener. It absorbs UV light and leaves skin looking healthier while also protecting it. The Tonka Bean comes from the Dipteryx Odorata tree in South America and can apparently live to 1000 years old!
Tripeptides boost collagen production and Hyaluronic Acid increases hydration levels – by up to 80% in clinical trials. I most certainly saw and felt a difference on my old hands!! Rose Absolute gives it a very subtle fragrance, this has been added for its mood enhancing qualities. I personally love rose so this adds to it for me.
The price point is really good too – £20 for an excellent serum is amazing value. It’s usually serums that I would say to spend out on, as they can work wonders due to their concentrated ingredients, however this is a bargain. For me the product delivers – it feels lovely to use and makes my skin better for sure. I was given this to try however I would buy it without a doubt. It is also Soil Association certified so you can trust the credentials no problem.
Has anyone else tried it?
